Roads

A community development situated in the heart of Maroochydore has been planned to encourage and enhance the opportunity of our residents to ride, walk or bus to where ever they want to go.

Our road network has also been designed around an easy and consistent traffic flow enabling people more time doing what they enjoy and less time travelling.

The installation of the $36M Maroochy Boulevard and Sunshine Motorway interchange, connecting Wises Road with Plaza Parade and the Sunshine Motorway, along with the Dalton Drive connection has reduced travel times. It has also provided drivers with direct access into the Maroochy CBD and easy access to the major arterials to Brisbane and Noosa.

The Chardan Development Group worked in conjunction with the Queensland Government and Sunshine Coast Regional Council in the design, construction and funding of these very important infrastructure projects.

Sunshine Cove has also been earmarked for the future Queensland Rail corridor through the CAMCOS (Caboolture to Maroochydore Corridor Study). Since identifying the need for an efficient and environmentally sustainable rail-based system in this region, QR is working in conjunction with our local council to determine timings and the alignment of the rail corridor.
